To date, at least ten members of the Toll family have been identified. TLRs recognize molecular patterns associated with microbial pathogens and induce antimicrobial immune response. TLR3 recognizes double-stranded (ds) RNA, induces the activation of NF-kB, through MyD88-dependent and -independent pathways, and the production of type I interferons (IFNs). Similar to several other members of the TLR family, TLR3 has been reported to be expressed at a very low level on the surface of human fibroblast cell lines. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
