Cell Biology

Cell Biology
Looking for reliable and cost effective Cell Biology products for your research?

Cell biology is the basis for a wide range of research and practical applications, including in-situ hybridization or immunohistochemistry; functional genomics and proteomics studies (gene regulation and expression); and protein expression profiling and protein purification; verification and validation of gene discoveries and identification of potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets for drug discovery.

Cell biology products and supplies include ergonomic and electronic single- and multi-channel pipettes, stackable tip racks, refills and dispensers; cryopreservation media, animal-optimized stem cell growth media, transfection reagents, 3D cell culture hydrogels and scaffold structures, and staining reagents and fluorescent tags for probes.

Equipment for cell biology includes microscope-mountable mechanical cell strain instruments, automated cell sorters, cell culture and analysis systems, bench top incubator shakers, biological safety cabinets, and ultra-low temperature freezers.

Fixed, paraffin embedded or cryogenically frozen tissue products for cell biology research include arrays, sections and panels, and slides. These biomaterial samples include genomic DNA, RNA and proteins, including lysates, isolated from tissues and cells. Tissue products include human (tumors, lymph nodes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, adult normal, fetal, placental, spleen, skeletal muscle, pancreas, lung, small intestine, etc.); animal (organ, nerve, fetal, mesenchymal stem cells, skin, and gland samples of rhesus monkey, rats, bovine, porcine, rabbit, mouse, hamster, guinea pigs, feline, etc.); and secreted samples such as serums, plasma, tears, urine, and cerebral spinal fluid of humans, birds, bovine, etc.

Pre-blotted Western Blot tissues come on a PVDF membrane with identified proteins from documented tissues, such as human placental protein, used as an interblot control lane for protein expression comparison.

Human specimens are collected from consenting hospitals and individuals, with legal consent forms obtained, and research and commercialization rights waived.
