Stage-Specific Embyronic Antigen 4 is a carbohydrate antigen expressed on human teratocarcinoma cells (EC), embryonic stem cells (ES) and embryonic germ cells. It is also expressed on a subset of mesenchymal stem cells, erythrocytes, the erythroleukemic myeloid cell line K562, unfertilized oocytes and early cleaved stage oocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.1ug/10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
