SSTR1 is a Somatostatin Receptor. SSTR1 has been reported at highest levels in the jejunum and stomach. In addition, SSTR1 has been shown to be expressed in adrenal, brain, eye, and panreas. ESTs have been isolated from normal placenta and colon cancer libraries.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 13ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Human Pancreas, Islet of Langerhans
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
