The recombinant protein over-expression systems with well-known epitope tags are powerful strategies in checking and purifying the interest proteins, which are expressed in certain vectors containing the particular tagged fragments. The small tags are used to be cloned 50 along with the target proteins, and the antibodies against those fusion-tags are used to monitor fusion protein expression and purification. S-Tag is an epitope tag composed of a 15aa peptide (KETAAAKFERQHMDS) derived from the pancreatic ribonuclease A. This antibody can be used to check S- tagged expressed proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
