Human CD95 (APO-1/FAS) is a type I cell surface glycoprotein that is strongly upregulated on activated T cells, B cells, NK cells and thymocytes. CD95 plays an important role in programmed cell death or apoptosis. Apoptosis appears to be a mechanism for regulating the immune response.
Functional Application: Antibody will not induce apoptosis of cells expressing CD95.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
