The human CD147 cell surface antigen is a 50-60kD glycoprotein also known as neurothelin and basigin. CD147 is broadly expressed on peripheral blood cells and by endothelial cells. Expression upon T cells is increased following activation.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50
Western Blot: Non-reducing conditions
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice.
Affinity Constant:
1.91 x 10e10L/mole
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
