Carbonic anhydrase (CA) catalyzes the reversible reaction of CO2 + H2O = HCO3- + H+ , which is fundamental to many processes such as respiration, renal tubular acidification and bone resorption. CA9, also known as membrane antigen MN and renal cell carcinoma (RCC)-associated antigen G250, is a transmembrane enzyme expressed primarily in carcinoma cells. It is one of the best markers for hypoxia and for RCC.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degrees C as an undiluted liquid. Stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Freezing Allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
