Rat BAFF (for B cell activating factor belonging to the TNF family) is a newly discovered novel ligand of the TNF family. BAFF plays an important role as co-stimulator of B cell proliferation and function. Recombinant rat BAFF is a soluble protein containing 184aa residues (MW 20.7kD).
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
