ACAA2 (acetylcoenzyme A acyltransferase 2), is member of the thiolase family of enzymes and is involved in lipid metabolism. ACAA2 is localized in the mitochondria. ACCA2 catalyzes the last conversion step of acetyl-CoA to 3-oxoacyl-CoA, in the fatty acid oxidation pathway.

Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
