The synaptonemal complex is a proteinaceous complex that apparently mediates synapses during the zygotene stage and then disintegrates. It is a complex structure that unites homologous chromosomes during the prophase stage of meiosis. It is the result of chromosome pairing interactions and not the cause of them.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoflourescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Immunoflourescence: 1:100-1:750
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:750
Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:
Store at 2-8 degrees C. Do Not Freeze! Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
