Solute carrier family 26 member 6 is a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the solute carrier 26 family, whose members encode anion transporter proteins. This particular family member is a protein involved in transporting chloride, oxalate, sulfate and bicarbonate. It is expressed ubiquitously with highest levels in kidney and pancreas and lower levels in heart, skeletal muscle, liver and placenta. It is also found in lung and brain.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
