LKB1, Serine/threonine kinase 11, is a tumor suppressor that belongs to the serine/threonine kinase family. Mutation in LKB1 is link to Peutz Jeghers syndrome (PJS), a disorder characterized by the growth of polyps in the gastrointestinal tract. LKB1 regulate AMPK signaling pathway and may also play a role in chromatin remodeling, cell cycle arrest and cell polarity.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
