TCTN1 belongs to the Tectonic protein family that regulate Hedgehog (Hh) pathway. During neural tube development, TCTN1 is required for the formation of most ventral cell types and for full Hh pathway activation. At later stages in development, TCTN1 is thought to also act as a repressor on the Hh pathway in the anterior and posterior neural tube. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
