This antibody reacts with the Stage-specific embryonic antigen-3 (SSEA-3). The epitope is expressed on the surface of human teratocarcinoma stem cells , embryonic carcinoma (EC) cells, human embryonic germ(EG) cells and human embryonic stem (ES) cells. Expression of SSEA-3 diminishes with differentiation of human EC cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug labels10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
