Stage-Specific Embyronic Antigen-1(SSEA-1), also referred to as Lewis X (LeX), is expressed on murine and human germ cells, murine embryonic stem (ES) cells and murine embryonal carcinoma (EC) cells . Expression levels differ between mouse and human with decreasing expression upon differentiation in mice and increased expression upon differentiation in humans.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug labels10e6 cells
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
