SP100 forms a homodimer and may play a role in the control of gene expression. It localizes to nuclear bodies (NBs), also referred to as Kr-bodies, ND10, or PODs. Splice variants of SP100 heterodimerize. SP100 interacts with members of the HP1 family of nonhistone chromosomal protein, such as CBX5 and CBX3 via the PxVxL motif.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
