Solute Carrier Family 5 Member 1 (Slc5a1/SGLT1) is a member of the sodium dependent glucose transporters also known as co transporters or symporters. It is an integral membrane protein involved in the active transport of glucose and galactose across the membrane of cells lining the gi tract and kidney. Transport is driven by the sodium/potassium ATPase.

Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3.75ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
