Cell-permeable. SKI-II is selective a non-lipid sphingosine kinase (SK) inhibitor. It displays non-ATP-competitive inhibition of human recombinant GST-SK 1 with an IC50 value of 0.5uM, with no inhibition against ERK2, PI3-kinase, or PKCa at concentrations up to 60uM.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
