Brain-permeable. A potent and selective sirtuin 2 deacetylase (SIRT2) inhibitor. Reduces neuronal cholesterol by inhibiting SIRT2 activity. Molecular Weight: ~437.35 Solubility: DMSO Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
