S100A9, also known as calgranulin B, migration inhibitory factor-related protein 14 (MRP14), belongs to the S100 family of calcium binding proteins of the EF-hand type. It is highly expressed in myeloid cells and other cell types including keratinocytes, epithelial cells and endothelial cells. S100A9 is a cytosolic protein that can also be released into the extracellular milieu. It is associated with various inflammatory diseases.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Western Blot: 1ug/ml

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
