MCP-1, also known as CCL2, is expressed by a range of cells including monocytes, vascular endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, osteoblasts and glomeruler mesangial cells. MCP-1 plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 1:1000
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen or paraffin sections): 1:250-1:500
Immunocytochemistry: 1:1000
ELISA: Capture
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
