The IRAK family members play an important role in IL-1R/TLR mediated inflammatory responses and in innate immunity. IRAK-4 is a novel member in the IRAK family. Over expression of IRAK-4 activates NFkB and MAPK pathways. Animas and human lacking IRAK-4 are impaired in their responses to viral and bacterial challenges. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
