The cytokine human interleukin-2 (IL-2) is a 15kD protein expressed upon activation by peripheral TH1 cells, medullary thymocytes, and a subset of large granular lymphocytes. Secreted IL-2 stimulates proliferation and lymphokine production by T cells, B cells and NK cells . Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
