Applications:
ELISA Capture: Useful as a capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying mouse GM-CSF protein levels. Purified antibody should be paired with biotinylated antibody (Cat. No. G8951-13C) as the detection antibody, with purified recombinant mouse GM-CSF as the standard.
Western Blot: Useful for Western blot applications. For Western blotting, a concentration of 1-5ug/ml (in conjunction with AP-labeled Goat Anti-Rat-Ig) has been found to enable detection of (same/less than) 100ng/lane of recombinant mouse GM-CSF under reducing conditions.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degrees C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
