Cytokeratin-18 expression has been shown in but is not limited to cells and tissues from lung, breast, intestine, gut, colon, kidney, pancreas, bladder, trophoblasts. Cytokeratin 18, Caspase-cleaved monoclonal antibody has been shown in numerous independent studies to be specific to the CK18 Asp396 caspase cleavage site (M30-neoepitope) and represents a well-established, validated apoptosis marker that does not react with viable or necrotic cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:100
Immunocytochemistry: 1:100
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
