DNA binding protein 7 (DBP-7) is also known as Chd7. Mutations in the Chd7 gene is believed to be a major implication of CHARGE syndrome. CHARGE syndrome is associated with anomalies such as malformations of the heart, inner ear, retina and cranial nerve defects. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
