Human CD8 is a heterodimeric protein consisting of an a and b chain, each about 33kD. CD8 is expressed on most thymocytes and on about one third of peripheral blood T cells. CD8 is a co-receptor involved in antigen recognition and binds to the a2 and a3 domain of MHC Class I molecules. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degrees C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only pror to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
