CD63 is expressed by monocytes and by a variety of cell lines. It is located intracellularly in lysosomal granules of platelets, being translocated to the surface upon activation. It may therefore by useful as a marker of platelet activation.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: neat-1:10, Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul or 100ul whole blood.
Optimal dilution to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degrees C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months at 4 degrees C. Freezing allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Allophycocyanin conjugates are sensitive to light.
