The a3 subunit, also known as CD49c and VLA-3 a subunit, forms a non-covalent heterodimer with the Integrin b1 subunit (CD29). Integrin a3b1 is a receptor for laminin, fibronectin, collagen, epiligrin, and thrombospondin. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: use 10ul tolabel 10e6 cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degrees C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing APC conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
