Human CD31 is an adhesion molecule expressed on platelets, endothelial cells, leukocytes and their bone marrow precursors. CD31 plays a role in homophilic adhesion and heterophilic transendothelial migration.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Protocol:
5 x 10e5 cultured Jurkat cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2383-01D at a 1:50 dilution (20ug/ml). Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed using a BD FACS Calibur. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.75 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/R-PE negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was 99% blocked when pre incubated 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml C2383-01A.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degrees C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only pror to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
