Human CD11b (aM integrin) complexes with CD18 (b2 integrin) to form the complement receptor type 3 (CR3) heterodimer which binds to ICAM-1, fibrinogen, C3b, and coagulation factor X. CD11b expression is restricted to leukocytes, mainly to myeloid and NK cells. Functional Application: Antibody blocks homotypic neutrophil and monocyte (FMLP induced) aggregation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
