Recombinant corresponding to 153aa from human BAFF expressed in E. coli.
ED50=5-10ng/ml, determined by the dose dependent stimulation of IL-8 production by human PBMCs. Please note that this biological activity may vary with each PBMC donor. The biological activity was also determined in a mouse splenocyte survival assay. The ED50 for this assay is 0.5 - 2.0 microg/mL. BAFF is a member of the TNF ligand superfamily, which serves as a costimulator of B cell proliferation and function. This recombinant protein corresponds to the TNF-like portion of BAFF
