ACAD-9 is a member of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family (ACAD). ACAD-9 is localized to the mitochondria and plays a key role in the b-oxidation of long-chain unsaturated fatty acids. ACAD-9 is active toward palmitoyl-CoA and stearoyl-CoA substrates.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
